"You are not the trauma you endured - you are incredible and loved, never forget that."
"When I was under the age of five, I was sexually assaulted on multiple occasions by the same man. This man was my grandfather. It hurts my soul to see other people go through the same violence that I was put through at such a young age. It is so important to speak up and stand up for yourself. You are not the trauma you endured - you are incredible and loved, never forget that."

"I am very strong and I survived. I've started my own family and my life wasn't destroyed because of those sick men."
When I was 6/7 years old, my father used to come into my room whenever me and my sister would come over for his weekend and he would touch on me and do things a father shouldn't do to his daughter and that abuse went on for about five to six years before I said anything - before I realized it was wrong. He would bribe me with things not to say anything or say things like, 'If you want to see me again, don't tell your mom,' and of course no little girl wants to be away from her daddy. I eventually told and he was put away. Then when I was 16 in January my cousin Tristen was someone very close to me and even knewabout the abuse my father caused. He did the exact same thing and for some reason that hurt more than my father because I would go to him for everything and he knew the pain that I was carrying and still did it. He is now put away as well. I am very strong and I survived. I've started my own family and my life wasn't destroyed because of those sick men. Very thankful for my family and friends and all the other people who have helped me through those tough years."
